November 28, 200717 yr comment_230107 Check ouit this thread.http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=28153You'll see that the choke cable has been extended somewhat. Looks like it would work fine. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26381-choke-question-re-triple-webers/#findComment-230107 Share on other sites
November 28, 200717 yr comment_230108 See: Mr. Woof's72z for his set up http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28153 I used his picture to show another... You really shouldn't need chokes in California.. unless you go to the tops of the mountains... FWIW, Carl B. November 28, 200717 yr comment_230114 I've got triples on my '71 here in Fla.; I pulled the choke mechs and made some block-off plates. Warm weather=don't need them Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26381-choke-question-re-triple-webers/#findComment-230114 Share on other sites
November 28, 200717 yr comment_230123 I did a similar thing on mine. I ran one of the 2 choke cable thru all the holes, clamped the cable on the #3 carb and all 3 choke clamps onto the choke cable. The second choke cable is tucked over by the brake lines area under the master cylinder. November 28, 200717 yr comment_230127 I had triples here in CO. I used the 2 choke cables to control the 2 rear carbs, and then clamped a stiff wire/cable to the middle and extended it to the front. But in actual use, even during the winter it fired right up after a few pumps even at 20 degrees. Webers are just about always going to be rich, so the choke isn't really needed. If you find you do need them, I'd be curious if you were running lean on the idle circuit. November 29, 200717 yr comment_230134 As said above, no point in running chokes in Paso Robles. Just use the accelerator pumps. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26381-choke-question-re-triple-webers/#findComment-230134 Share on other sites
