Steve not only has it had Zep played in it. I would bet at least one time while driving the loop on Riverside any friday night in the mid 70's.

Those were the dancin' daze!

It's crazy thinking that an 18 year old groovin to Zep in summer of 72 is now at least 53 years old!

From 1977 to 1980 my Lear 8-Track (of Lear Jet fame) and Jenson 6 by 9's were always blasting out Led Zep tunes. Freeway speed, sweet chick on the right, "Stairway to Heaven" blasting. Was it ever any better?

Ahh yes, the good old days! I think everyone had an 8-track and Jenson 6x9's back then! :classic:

I am sure both of my Z's had Zep played in them over the radio, and, like Arne, I know they have had it played in them recently :classic:

I'm sure my 78 had Zep played in it before I got it. The PO had several rock and roll posters in his garage and would have been about 25 years old when he bought the car new. It has had Zep played in it as recently as last week by me. Oh and Dave (post #4), that's 'Kashmir'.

Isn't this question akin to asking: "Do you think anyone ever farted in the driver's seat of my Z?" OF COURSE Zeppelin was played in your Z!!! LOL

For what it's worth, I'm partial to The Immigrant Song. Even though I haven't ever had a radio in my current Z (seriously), Zeppelin has been on in the shop when I was working on the car many many times.

I'm not sure if my car had any Zeppelin playing.

It was a member of M.A.D.D.

yeah. it has a Mother's Against Drunk Driving sticker on the right rear quarter window.

It also had the jesus fish thing.

Sounds like you bought it from "a little old lady from Pasadena who only drove it to church on Sundays"... And maybe to MADD on Saturdays...LOL

nope. I bought it from a guy who bought it last year and never did a thing to it except replace the brakelines and fuel lines, along with a few other things, then let it sit. before then, it was in posession of a towing yard for probably 5 years. who knows who owned it before then, but it's never been in an accident and it's very solid, no rust except for some surface rust here and there. but nothin cancerous.

BUT. i'm sure a little old lady did own this car one day long ago. it deffinetly hasn't been hammered and beaten. Just burnt by the sun.
