JB Weld

Has anyone ever used this stuff before? I have a spot on the lower radiator support where it meets the frame rail that would be difficult to fabricate a metal patch that would fit accurately however it does not warrant a new rad support.

I have heard stories of this stuff being fantastic and repaired cracked engine blocks, however never in an instance of "body work" per say

I have never used it in that aplacation however I once used it on a prop on an Inboard boat that hit a rock and knocked out a chunk of the prop about the size of a quarter. We strighteded the blade and repaired the missing area with J B weld and dressed it off with a file when it was set and used the boat for water skiing for the rest of the camping trip. And it held just fine , It's strong stuff , be sure to clean off the areas where it is to bond vary well. If it dosn't work satisfactory remove it. Nothing to loose.

Seems to be pretty useful stuff. I will have to give it a shot as the spot where I need it to repair is full of some complex curves. from

standing in the engine compartment looking forward, the bottom inside driver side portion of the rad support is starting to show signs of seperation.

seeing that this stuff is pliable and can be drilled and tapped, it seems this may be as sturdy as a small weld job

I used it to temporarly repair a leak in my dirtbike rad. It became a perminant fix - on a differant bike i repaired a hole about the size of a silver dollar in the crankcase ( twostroke bike ) I am going to buy stock if i can find any !!
