August 15, 200222 yr comment_13084 I'm not complaining or anything 2Many - just paranoid about being misconstrued! I'm sure that some people already branded me a heretic for daring to question the word of the HLS30 Gods.......Being interested in the Right Hand Drive S30 story can be a lonely furrow to plow. Sometimes it seems that questioning the "facts" can lead to a lightning strike and eternal damnation. I just want S30-series Z enthusiasts to realise that the Left Hand Drive cars were not where the story began or ended. Thank heavens for some of the more vocal enthusiasts in Australia and New Zealand for giving me some moral support on this. I have to say that this website would be a very lopsided affair without them..............One day I might summon up the courage to start a thread along the lines of "Why the handbrake is on the wrong side of the tunnel on Left Hand Drive S30's" or "Why the carbs and exhaust are on the 'wrong' side for LHD S30's" - but I think I shall finish building my nuke-proof bunker first!Alan T. August 15, 200222 yr comment_13119 Alan, I have my hoe and I'm ready to help plough the S30 furrow down here where the spotlight on the Z is a little dim! (mixing my metaphors? Oh well, long live RHD I say!) Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/2651-i-need-info-please-71-240z/?&page=2#findComment-13119 Share on other sites

Ok Alan, Never having seen a LHD zed, I have often wondered what was mirrored and what wasn't?You mentioned the handbrake and exhaust/carbs, is there anything else.Incidentally, when one thinks about prototypes, one wonders if they where LH or RH drive? My bets on RH drive!
