What about some fuel and brake line insulators? Down the tunnel I have three lines, fuel feed, fuel return and rear brake feed. I think you guys had an additional line for venting?Mine are gone and I've had to make new ones out of sponge rubber. I'm not sure just how long they are going to last.

The hatch hinge seals would be a big winner in my book. I spoke with Les Cannaday yesterday and he doesn't know anyone making them. I think the heater control panel and the chrome strip on the driver's door panel would also be winners. The heater control panel is crazy expensive if you can find one, and I think way too pricey for most except those building a gold medallion. My heater control panel is fine except the chrome; I'm sure that's the case for most people.

How about the little rubber bumpers for the door release lever?

I have a set of NOS hatch Hinge Seals that I verified fit and have made molds from-so I am on hold until i find a suitable material that will not have the same issues as the original material.

The Heater control panel I considered casting in Aluminum and polishing/annodizing

to make it a permanent piece-too technologoically advanced for my home shop, but I will find a company...

The Door panel chrome strips are restorable-at least one member here offers that service.

I had not considered the bumpers for the door release lever because the escutcheon panels (the part that holds the bumpers) were only $10 Each from Nissan last time i checked, and the bumpers come installed.

Gee, I didn't know you could still get the chrome door release escutcheons. Silly me. It's probably the tiniest piece of rubber on the Z, and how many people even know it's suppose to be there. For some reason I have never seen a Z with them, except a fully restored Z. Can you take a pic of the hinge seals, I've always wanted to see what they look like?

What do you think about making some of those plastic covers for the 280Z arm rest/door handle bolts? They would need to be plated, but you could leave that up to the purchaser.

When I first got my car, both were missing and I found out that they can't be purchased from Nissan, so I had to buy a couple off Ebay.

Since it's not one of those independent parts you can, it would make a great part to have produced for just this situation.

I'll see about digging them out next week(getting ready for Amelia Island Concours) and snapping and posting a few pics.
