Identical shift knob emblems are still in the works(gotta get the paint right in the relief)

Antenna insulator(black thingy between the paint, the round gasket and under the cone washer upper chrome nut is done.

Hello,

I am in deperate need of heater control panel any progress in that arena?

The morons at my insurance company are trying to TOTAL my car because of a smashed Heater control panel and a stolen stereo system and they are too lame to locate parts and wont accept used or allow me to do the labor!!

I am pursuing a used one but new or NOS would be brilliant, I could save the used parts for another day orZ. Also looking for an insurance company with a brain.

Is one of these thingys the black plastic washer that goes between the chrome nuty and the chrome spherical thingy? Thanks, and can hardly wait to see all the goodys.

Have you checked with Ejji at Datsun Spirit? He has had them before, also the '73 version is still available from your local dealer-if they aren't "too busy" to check. If you get stuck, I have several used ones in decent shape, or I can order you a new '73 for my cost plus shipping-it fits exactly right and looks like it belongs, but it is a bit different...

As for the Insurance company with a brain...I think that is coming up in the new episode of MythBusters...

So far I have not made the washer that goes next to the paint, but the semi-spherical piece above it. I have several of those, I will put that in the next mold run-I probably should offer that with the semi-spherical piece....

Actually, on the early antennas, the piece I need is the black plastic washer that sits on top of the semi-spherical chrome piece. On my antenna, looking at the parts from the paint, up, first is the rubber washer with a lip, then the black rubber semi-spherical rubber piece, then the chrome semi-spherical piece which partially covers the last piece, then the black plastic washer that I am looking for, then the chrome nut with a black plastic collar around the top of the nut.

I didn't have a picture either, but since both the camera and the antenna are easy to get to...

Thanks for the backup on the picture. The part I am in need of is that black plastic washer under the chrome nut, and am not sure if that is on Will's

to-do list.
