Hello all, Im a recent purchaser of one of these precious beautys, of course mine isnt a classic for another month :-p Saturday I picked up a fairly beat up old 1983 Datsun 280ZX non turbo. Came with the paperwork for $250 but doesnt exactly want to run. Something is very wrong in the fuel delivery. it starts, runs for a few seconds and stalls, fuel pump runs a few seconds and it will start again, if you try to touch the throttle it will immediatly die, changed the fuel filter already and that wasnt the problem. Im thinking Im going to buy an intake and carbs from a 240 and eliminate the fuel injection and computers out of the picture, eventualy Im going to do a V8 swap with a 350 4 bolt main SB chevy and a T350 transmition to run the car as a drag car. but for now if I can sort it out Im going to run it on the street for a bit anybody with some parts or ideas let me know, if somebody has a carborated intake they want to get rid of with the carbs Id gladly make a purchase
