Posted December 18, 200717 yr comment_231709 Hello all,Site looks great, can't believe it has taken me this long to find a site like this and start becoming active on my Z car club membership and restoring my car. Sold my modified 260z over the summer (bought on eBay Nov '05) to purchase a fairly original 1970 240z (on eBay again). My new car has a build date of 1/70 and is serial number 000797 so I am looking forward to restoring it close to original without too many modifications (other than the new msa header i put on). Risky buying cars on eBay but I've really been lucky with my last one and this one too; true Datsun owners/sellers on eBay have seemed to be honest and good to work with.I'm somewhat active in my local club chapter (Smoky Mt. Z Car Club) in East Tennessee and hope to start contributing to the site once I'm done researching and asking a few questions to get started. I'm needing a paint job and searching for trim pieces. Other than the pesky rear brakes bleeding all over themselves, I should be up and running soon.-chris smithsmzcc #155 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26538-renewed-z-car-owner/ Share on other sites

December 19, 200717 yr comment_231797 Chris,Welcome to the site! Sounds like a great find. Lots of good info here, and if you can't find it in the archives, someone will usually be sure to have the answer. Looks like you and another board member, Randy (mally002), are in the same town! Be sure to post some pics of your new Z, we all love Z pics here! :classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26538-renewed-z-car-owner/#findComment-231797 Share on other sites
