Posted December 18, 200717 yr comment_231717 Heloo,I was searcing the forum and found no direct answer in regards to this specific question for a 1977 280ZTrying to see if a 14x8 rim with a -13 offset clear the front wheel well withoutrubbing or the need for fender flares. Also how will they fit the rear.I used a tire calcutar on this website herehttp://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp with the above demision with 14x7 Zero offset on 215/60/14 tires for the first wheel on left which is what I have on front. And compared them with 14x8 -13 offset on same tires for the second wheel to the right.Specs show my rims are 4 inch backspace aswell as the 14x8 -13's.But my rims are 7 inches wide and stick out 3 inches from the mounting suface why the 14x8 -13 stick out by 4 inches. Will this incure any problems? Will I need a thinner tire sidewall (not so bubbled out like my Goodyear Wingfoots)? Thaynx again guys for any help once again. ~Z~ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26539-will-14x8-13-offset-rim-clear-the-front-on-77-280z/ Share on other sites
