Thanks for the wishes, Mike. And thanks for all that you do to provide us with this virtual community. I troll a lot of sites, and I find the membership here most welcoming. So, to all.... Merry Christmas, and a healthy New Year.

(Oh, and Mike.... can you send Santa's little helpers by? I have a few things that they can help me with...)

An infamous banned member gave us this in 2003:

One of my buddies over at the other site:ermm: dont hit me:stupid: wrote this, I think its awesome, Props to Zluster for this cheery Z Christmas poem.

A Visit from Saint Nicholaz

Twas the Night before Christmas and all through the town.

Not a Z Car was zipping or cruising around.

The stockings were hung by the tool box with care.

In hopes that St. Nicholaz would leave something there.

300zxClub members were tucked in their beds,

While visions of Zeds raced through their heads

My car under cover and I in my cap,

All I could think of was the summers last lap

When out on the driveway there arose such a clatter

I sprung from my 240 to see whats the matter.

Away to the window I flew like a flash.

I ripped down the blinds as I tripped over the trash.

The moon on the hood of my new GTR,

Threw a glow in the night both near and far.

When what to my wondering eyes should appear?

But- A shinny red Z and eight Japanese deer!

With a little old driver that liked to go quick,

I new in a moment it must be St. Nick.

More rapid than Mustangs his coursers they came,

And he whistles and shouted and called out their name:

"Now, 240! Now, 260! Now, 280 and ZX!

On, 300! On, Shiro! On Twin Turbo and Stillen!

On down the driveway, stay away from the wall!

Now zip away, speed away, zip away all!"

As fast Zeds burn rubber while a twisty track they fly,

When they meet with a curb, and mount to the sky.

So up my Court the Datsun flew,

The Nissan full of car stuff and Saint Nicholaz too!

And in 0 to 60 I heard on my drive

The clutching and shifting of a 5 spd overdrive.

As I drew in my head and was turning around

Into the garage St. Nicholas did bound!

He was all dressed in Nomex from his head to his foot,

His jump suit was tarnished with oil and soot.

A bundle of race parts he took off his back.

He looked like a parts dealer just opening his pack!

His eyes - how they twinkled.

His dimples how merry.

His helmet was Bell,

Bright red like a cherry!

His droll little mouth was drawn up in a grin

With a bit of black gold smeared on his chin.

The tip of an exhaust pipe he held in his teeth,

And the smoke encircled his head like a big Christmas wreath.

He had a broad face and a little beer belly

That shook, when he laughed, like a bowl full of chili.

He was jolly and plump - a right jolly elf.

And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself.

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head

I new he'd take care of my sweet little Zed!

He spoke not a word but went straight to work,

Changing my camshaft, he then turned with a jerk,

And laying his finger aside of his nose

And giving a nod - out the garage door he goes.

He jumped in his Z Car, to his team he did whistle

And raced down the street like a Tomahawk missile!

But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight:

"Happy Christmas to all, and too all a good night!"

Thanks Mike! Merry Xmas everone. Christmas is'nt something I celebrate, but it's special to me. I live on a hill overlooking LA. Xmas morning, the city is so quiet. Silent like no other day. The 2 freeway, normally buzzing with car tires is an empty stretch of blacktop. I sit out on my back terrace, drinking coffee and drinking in the city at peace.

That was a funny clip Dennis!

Thanks Mike , likewise wishing you a great time with family and friends. Having spending Christmas with my family I am so grateful for how blessed we all are. We have come from some vary difficult times and are healing. Great to have friends and family , treasure them all. Gary
