:sick: :stupid: i dunno help me how much horsepower will the 240z rearend take? or the 280z? does the fact that it is automatic or manual trans make a difference? ( i mean the rearend from a manual or auto trans r they different from each other?) how hard would it be to put a ford 9 inch in a 240z? and u guys with tubbed out z's how did u do that what has to be done? and how differently does the car handle w/ fat tires in the rear? i have a project z with a built chevy block in it w/ a th350 in it... please help. (this car was inheritated i would never tear up a z like that)

I do not have personal experience with the strength of the differential but from what I have read on various websights it seems bullet proof. I think that you should access hybredz.com they are dealing with such conversions all the time
