I would love for someone here to buy the car.

I really want it to go to someone who will appreciate it for what it is, and not run it into the ground. I have no idea of the value, and it seems from all of your great information that the car is pretty rare (dated 11/70) and very original.

No one has stated what they thought the ballpark value would be.

I'm completely open for suggestions, and if someone wants to make an offer, let's talk.

On another note, please check out the ignition system, and I posted some pics of the dreaded "center console" and kinda highlighted what I was talking about.

Thanks again to you all!

Steve,

This car looks great. Automatics are not to my tastes, but fairly rare in 70~71's.

It's a time capsule for sure. P/S = Pacer Sport. Pacer wheels worked closely with Nissan Dealerships in 69, 70, 71 for dealership installed option wheels. Too bad they aren't the Pacer Sport 6 hole variety, which were rarer. by the way, those caps should polish out nicely.

I wonder what happened to park this car, all those years ago.

Yep, My bad. I never noticed the arm rest thingo.

Apologies to HS30-S. I've read a lot of your posts and you seem really knowlegable. Knowing obsure facts like jap zg's have orange front indicators (even though i've seen a few with clear lenses). Some people just cant take a compliment! :classic:

P.S. Shouldn't you keep both hands on the wheel? who needs an arm rest.

Steve-o,

What's it worth? Well, assuming it's rust-free and it is an early car, the value will increase. However since it's an automatic, a lot of buyers will not be interested. In it's current state, I'd guess you might get as much as $4000 if it ran. If it does not expect less. If it turns out that it runs like new you might get a a bit more.

I was recently looking for a rust free car, and in CA you can actually find them fairly easy (or easier than I expected). The prices varied widely, from $3000-$6000 (more if it's restored). I opted for a cheaper car ($3000), knowing that I'd spend an extra $3-4 K on fixing it up. I figured it's better to get a car where I know everything is new as opposed to spending more and getting old parts that seem to work okay.

The car was parked because my grandfather had a bad back (some kind of spinal cord infection, and it ultimately killed him) but it was very hard for him to get in and out of such a low car.

The car was driven into the garage, and "put to rest" and they got some Chrysler old people car instead.

My grandfather had high hopes to have someone fix it up for my sister, but you know how that goes.

There used to be a local shop called "Wizard of Zs" Anyone hear of it?? Was it a cool shop? Never been there.

What's the estimated value of this car??

Just a ballpark is O.K. so i have an idea.

Thanks,

-Steve
