Just got PS3 befor Xmas and it's hooked up to a 52" HD tube - got to say any game on this system looks almost lifelike, NBA 2008 (EA) is weird to watch - occasionally it appears to be a real game.

Anyway, I am going to tie it into the LAN when I get home from this trip and download the (prologue) - reports to follow.

I watch these videos from time to time and the cars on track still look very fake, at least to me. They don't roll properly, the suspensions don't move properly, tires don't deflect, no real yaw, and more. The static look of the cars are fantastic, but they still haven't got the dynamics.

They're still coding the game and admit theres still areas of

work before its done.

Never did like that effect either of how the tires seem to roll on glass as

opposed to tarmac, since GT4 in my experience anyway.

Saw #3 only once but never played it to catch these things.

In GT2 there doesn't seem to be that problem as the tarmac was pixalated

and you could feel the road more better IMO.

The tires not deflecting is a good point too.

The suspension in 4 might live up to you liking though.
