January 18, 200817 yr comment_234564 as far as i know, the only TC24-B1 head i've ever seen, is on the OS Giken's Z.i don't think any other's exist. if they did, you'd probably have to fork over way more than you could imagine for it. Giken TC48-BS.I did a search and I put "os giken TC48-BS" as key words, nothing came.. but a supplier of OS Giken turbos and stuff exists, I don't know if they still manufacture the TC24-B1. January 18, 200817 yr comment_234605 No, they recently came out with a 48 valve head. Do a search on O.S. Giken TC48-BS. Must be some really tiny valves to be able to fit 8 per cylinder. January 19, 200817 yr comment_234704 The OS Giken head thing comes up every few months. Its a running joke over on HybridZ.org. These are very rare and not in production anymore. If one comes up used for sale the transaction is in the tens of thousand of dollars and usually occurs privately between people in the community. I've never, ever seen one advertised for sale. What happens after someone posts the information above is the original poster tries to start a "Group Buy" and comes up with 10 people that want to put one of these heads on their L6. None of those 10 people have the money, OS Giken isn't interested in restating manufacture, and the deal collapses in ridicule and accusations. The OS Giken head is the Loch Ness Monster of the USA based Z community. Its real but extremely rare in other parts of the world. Sorry.ok I admit, you got me badly with that one:paranoid:I feel so .. hmmm, how can I say this? ok here it is , I feel so #$%*<|)8$ after I did the search about the TC48-BS and all I found is something like rice from a bowl!:stupid:so I guess it is not worth it to get a used one maybe, since the price is in tens of thousands:(ok, thank you for the info guys, but I think one of those heads was here in Bahrain, that's why I thaught that it is common in the US. OR probably, he put an disguised RB engine in:bandit: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26798-twin-cam-of-l-series-engines-os-giken/#findComment-234742 Share on other sites
