Can anyone verify (or not) that the rear valence on a 240z is the same as the 280z. I need to replace mine and I need to know how big my shoppping list can be. I thought the hls-30 were all the same?

No not all hls30's are the same. Its different.

If you happen to find a source for them, let us know about it. I didn't get too serious in my search for one and decided to just repair the original, but it's still good to know.

I'd like to know too. My 280 needs a new rear valance and I don't know where to find one and mine is going to be hard to repair.

I guess I should fill pretty lucky that I found one on eBay here a while back then...I pretty much do a quick eBay scan for parts almost every day...have found quite a few NOS/NLA parts that way...

I saw the motorsport panel. Please take notice the metal thickness-16 guage-that is a stout panel. I imagine the original was about 20 guage at best. I just hope to find an original that i can cut off someones car!
