Posted January 21, 200817 yr comment_234897 So I finally rolled over 65,000 miles in the Z today.I did the math and she's averaged about 1700 miles per year since production. In actuality, it was more like 50 miles per year for the last 10-15 years.Who else here has a low mileage original like me? January 21, 200817 yr comment_234901 Mine is sitting in the garage right now with 63,512. Which is about up to your average, considering mine is a year newer.Since we're both here in the Pacific NW, we'll have to get the two together sometime. January 21, 200817 yr Author comment_234906 I'm looking forward to meeting a bunch of you guys. I'm a fairly new member, does this (or the NW Z's club) have a few meets during the summer? January 21, 200817 yr comment_234916 I met a lot of the guys a Canby last year (07') Maybe we'll have to get everone together again this year as well.Mine just rolled over 170,000 last night, After an 800 mile round trip to Roseburg, Oregon, yesterday. Does that count as low milage? It's low if you consider the average car is driven 15,000 a year. (those who work out of town, 5 days a week)Dave.Give me a call Jon. January 22, 200817 yr comment_234965 I don't fit the original class of 70 Z, but I am an original owner of a 76-280 with 48K miles. That is about 1500 miles a year. I usually put about 300 per year on now. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26839-finally-hit-65k-you/#findComment-234965 Share on other sites
January 22, 200817 yr comment_234971 My 1972 has 76,000 on it with good documentation. That's one of the reasons I bought it. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26839-finally-hit-65k-you/#findComment-234971 Share on other sites
January 22, 200817 yr Author comment_235003 I don't fit the original class of 70 Z, but I am an original owner of a 76-280 with 48K miles.I just meant that the miles weren't in doubt. Typically they'd have their original engine at this point, so that all I was getting at.It's great to see all the low mileage Z's still around. Hope to see some of you in Canby! January 22, 200817 yr comment_235037 My '73 has 58K now, and is documented, and my '72 has 53K, however the documentation for the car was lost while it was sitting at Nissan's warehouse for 10 years when it was supposed to be part of the Vintage Z Program, so the miles may be correct.
