justinr54321 Posted January 22, 2008 Share #2 Posted January 22, 2008 the correct question is, who have the least miles on what year and type of Z.
sblake01 Posted January 22, 2008 Share #3 Posted January 22, 2008 Well my Z, a 78 like yours, is at 98,715 right now so it doesn't qualify. The 810 as just a shade under 122,000 so it's not in the ballpark either. I'm the second owner of both of those and have the PO documentation for their accuracy. Now with my truck, I'm the fourth owner and I don't have documentation back to the beginning but with what I do have, my guess would be that it either has 427,386 or 527,386! sblake01 Posted January 22, 2008 Share #4 Posted January 22, 2008 the correct question is, who have the least miles on what year and type of Z.If he's asking about the most miles, why wouldn't his question be correct?
justinr54321 Posted January 22, 2008 Share #5 Posted January 22, 2008 If he's asking about the most miles, why wouldn't his question be correct?I now what he's asking, its just that as old as these cars are, it'd be interesting to see the least miles. Hmmm, or maybe both? On the high end and the low end. Anywho, I can't even put up how many mine has becuase its not even the original engine in mine. AndysPlit Posted January 22, 2008 Author Share #6 Posted January 22, 2008 ....I've read a few threads with low mile Z's. So I am interested in the other side of the spectrum. There's something to be said about high mileage cars, as they've been through a lot. I now what he's asking, its just that as old as these cars are, it'd be interesting to see the least miles. Hmmm, or maybe both? On the high end and the low end. Anywho, I can't even put up how many mine has becuase its not even the original engine in mine. DougN Posted January 22, 2008 Share #8 Posted January 22, 2008 My 72 has 53K miles, and my 73 has 58K miles (I could tell you exact, but I am not at home to go look at them), so I guess I can't win for most miles. :classic: As for lowest miles I am aware of, a guy here in town with the nicest collection of Z's I have ever seen as a 240Z with something like 1500 miles, a Black Pearl with around the same, and a 82ZX Turbo with 1300 or so original, documented miles IIRC. WDILL Posted January 22, 2008 Share #11 Posted January 22, 2008 my 1970 240Z has 157,500 miles and is now going through full restoration at www.rodshopofmemphis.com. I tinkered around with it for 15 years always afraid I would be transfered with it ina a million pieces. I finally found someone close to restore it for me.
