Posted January 25, 200817 yr comment_235300 I would like to welcome myself to this site as I have just acquired my dad's old '73 240Z HLS30 139584. He passed away last year and I finally got a chance to tow it from Va Beach up here to Richmond, Va. It has been in the garage (driving my mom nuts) for 15+ years. Probably only driven 1000 miles in the 5-7 years before that. So needless to say it is in great shape. No rust at all...all original parts...no body damage...good bumpers etc. Only thing is that it has not been turned over in 15+ years so I have a little work to do just to get it running. Then gotta figure out what I want to do with it. So I will be here with lots of questions over the next couple of years. Look forward to all the help and advice. Thanks. January 25, 200817 yr Author comment_235321 Well first things first....since I am not sure how the fuel system was left before the car sat for 15 years, I was wondering if anyone knows of a fuel system cleaner/solvent to rid the tank and fuel lines of that nasty varnish that will probably be in there. Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/26877-new-73-240z-owner/#findComment-235321 Share on other sites
