Lets see. My car was built in March of 1972. My parts car was built in November 1971. I had just got home from Vietnam in early 1972. I remember we used to listen Steppenwolf, Led Zepplin, Cream, Iron Butterfly, Neil Diamond , The Who, Beatles, Stones,My personal Favorite The Doors, Hendrix, and the list goes on. Just can't remember them all. That part of my life is a little hazy at times, although I know it was one hell of a ride if you know what I mean. Sex,Drugs.and Rock and Roll. Right on Brother.

I don't remember any of those from the 70s, mate.

IMO, the best ( and only real music with guitars, melody, "singing", harmony, etc) was from the 70s and 80s. When rap, and then hop-hop, music came along, the music died. That's why people must now hide their speakers in the trunk.

what about west life, boyzone, backstreet and blue? they all have good music!
What about them? Those are all whiney little 'boy bands' that are performing in the present. If you like them, fine. But they have nothing to do with this thread.

Comcast has music channels for 70s, 80s, 90s, and a bunch of others, I am copying the 70s channel at night to get the right music for my Z. It is pretty cool to hear a song that I forgot about, and remember where I was when I last heard it...still waiting for what I was listening to on the school bus when I saw my first Z!

full house (rain):

This thread is about the music that was popular when your Z car was built. That is why the "music" you are listing is of no relevance in this thread.

What music was popular when your Z was built? Oh, wait. You don't have a Z car...
