It looks great Brian! It would get lost up here right now and blend right in with all of the !@#$%^&* snow! Yes, resist the urge to reassemble anything that will make it more difficult to watersand & polish when the time comes.

Looking good. Did you get any instructions on how long to wait before wet sanding? My painter specifically said to leave the car outside in the sun for a few weeks to help speed up the paint curing process.

He said to leave it in the sun as much as possible over the next three weeks, and then to bring it back in. As one would expect, I guess, paint cures faster in the summer, so he normally tells people two weeks in the summer and three weeks in the winter.

For the next couple of weeks, I will work on getting the quarter windows and weatherstripping back in...the interior, too...so I'll be making some progress even if I can't do as much of the reassembly as I'd like.

Looks great!!!! My painter tells me to wetsand and buff a bit sooner than later. I let the clear cure for 2-3 days at 70 degrees +. It makes the job go easier. You just have to be careful not to buff one spot too long

You are well ahead of me... My chassis should be prime coated soon.

I visited the car last week. No fenders, no hatch, and lots of sanded-down spots... At least there was nothing but a little surface rust!

Will be really nice when I get her back!
