February 18, 200817 yr comment_237578 Do a search around here, you'll find that completely rebuilt ZTHERAPY carbs do the trick. The S.U.'s ase fairly easy to rebuild as wellhttp://www.ztherapy.com/Stick with the inline 6, I can't promise the same HP as a big ol V8 but the complications and down time for the swap are a lot less. The ease of tuning, the upgrades and lightweight motor will keep your handling in tune.If you're serious about the V8, try HybridZ.orgDave. February 18, 200817 yr comment_237584 I have a triple set-up of Weber 40DCOE carbs. They run about $1500 before all the goodies. They bolt right up, little bit of linkage mods and adjusting but they bolt right up with the Cannon Manifold.triples - yes4 - no waydual S.U.'s - perfectI have the triples because I also have a stage 2 cam (478/280 cam) ceramic coated 6-into-1 headers, 2-1/2" exhaust, turbo muffler, Mallory infra-red ignition, MSD 6A, etc, etc.when properly tuned, I get about 28 MPG, great tire smokin power, lopy idle. I get asked all the time "What size V8 ya got in there?" February 18, 200817 yr comment_237587 What About a 3 or 4(rebuilt) carb Set up Will it give me more or the same as the V-8?i Saw you 3 carb set up in your z Zs-ondabrain looks really nice What Carbs are they/what do u have to do?It all depends. If you're pulling a V-8 out of a 75 Mustang II without modifications, you can get more horsepower from building up an inline 6 and putting on triple carburetors.Do some research before asking questions. The quality of your questions indicate you don't really have much of an idea of what you are doing or are considering doing. Go to HybridZ and read a lot. Buy How to Modify Your Nissan/Datsun OHC Engine and How to Rebuild Your Nissan/Datsun OHC Engine. Look into Jags That Run for information on swaps as well. Now if you REALLY want to make your car to go, you need one of these. February 18, 200817 yr comment_237590 Nice thing about the FLUX CAPACITOR is you can meet them at the finish line and never have to break 90 MPHHe's not picken on ya, He's just saying that there is a search engine here that has ALL the Answers you're looking for. It takes a lot of reading to get all the answers you need. Start reading the searches and try Hybrid for your V8 questions.Hope all this helped.Dave. February 18, 200817 yr comment_237593 Dude i dont want to read i want a anwser SteveJ! so leave me alon Sorry dude, but there is no one correct answer. The correct answer will be different for different people, cars and situations. Dave's triple carbs are great for his modified motor, but would be overkill for my stock motor. In my case, the factory twin carbs are better. For you? I dunno. You're going to have to decide what it really is that you want, how much are willing and able to do yourself, and how much you can afford to pay.And yes, I'm going to say it again. You do NEED to do some serious reading so that you can figure out what is going to work for your goals and budget.
