dyin4aZ Posted February 18, 2008 Share #1 Posted February 18, 2008 I have become the owner of a '71 240 Z, that is in bad shape. I have cleared the engine compartment, and have found a wire bundle that has been on fire. Does anyone out there know where I can get a full wiring harness or a diagram of the harness? Thanks. Arne Posted February 18, 2008 Share #3 Posted February 18, 2008 What month production? (Found on door jam tag.) And is it an automatic or a manual transmission car?I ask this because there are several different engine compartment wring harnesses for a '71 240Z, depending on the answers to those questions.I have a spare harness for an early production '71, automatic. The automatic harnesses can work with either transmission, but a manual harness only works for manuals.
SteveJ Posted February 18, 2008 Share #4 Posted February 18, 2008 You can get a wiring harness by emailing any Z pick'n'pull that you can find. ZBarn is in Tennessee. Search for it and send Roger an email.
