Recently changed both sets of wheels on my Z's. The green Z currently has the Libre wheels and I just put the original steel wheels and D hubcaps on the red one. So, in comparison to the slot mags and other mags (not sure what you'd call them) what do you think? Also, first time I've had both Z's at the house along with my Viper. It's amazing how many lines the Z and Viper share

Neat Garage YO :)

I didn't think the libres worked at first then realized the shade is wrong for your

color Z.

If you polished or painted/powder coated the Libres same silver as your Per-Specs

then the color scheme would be perfect with a Green and Silver combonation as

before.

Jus my take :)

I like the Libres. If you polished the lip, they would really pop.

Both cars are gorgeous. All of the wheel options you showed us are really very classic looks, so I don't think that you can go wrong whatever you decide.

I like the Libres also. IMO the Libres look great, the 'other mags' look really good, the D caps bring it back to basics which is also great and the slots are fourth on the list. I never was really a fan of the 'slots'. I always thought of them as mini truck wheels but that's just me.

Hey Bob!

Not a big fan of the Libres, they look to small to me. If it were me, I'd go with the slots on the Green Z (like Randy's automatic), and stick with the caps on the Red Z :classic:

Since you asked.......Ebay the Libres and go back to what you had before. I think it's a nicer retro aftermarket look for that period car. The D caps are dandy - just make sure they're on tight and watch out for curbs.

I like all of them. I think Libres would be one of my first choices on a lighter colored car - say, 919 yellow, silver or white. The 'other' mags (Performance Specialties) do look nice on the green, and both the slots and the caps look right on the red car.

I've been trying to figure out if I want something different yet vintage for my red car, and the more I look at pictures, the more I think I like the P/S mags. Polished up nicely, they give a great vintage look.

I have a serious uncurable condition called "rimatism", and can't find anything negative to say about any combination you could come up with there. I'd keep them all and change them up when the urge beckons. Wheels, especially vintage ones are like paint colors on a Z. Wait a week and you will have a new favorite.:classic:
