February 19, 200817 yr comment_237707 I would be happy with any of them. Libre's are my choice for #1, and the slots come in last... but that doesn't mean that I don't like them.... The D caps are great with a retro look. I'm not sure I'd run them for fear of loss or damage; perhaps keep for shows. All of your options are pleasing to my eyes. February 20, 200817 yr comment_237945 Count my vote for the libre's, just as they are. Great classic look. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27095-wheel-changes-your-opinion/?&page=2#findComment-237945 Share on other sites

February 20, 200817 yr comment_238003 I like the Libres best, maybe better on a lighter colored car. Wish they were 15X7 and I'd trade my Panasports for a set. There are lots of cars with the slots so they aren't exactly unique like the Libres, but they certainly give a period correct look to a car here in the States. You can now get the slots in 15x7 or larger as well so that's a plus. The D Hubcaps are wonderful, but fear of losing one on the road and the fact they look small to me would make me just use them for shows -- so it depends on what you are using your car for the most -- pleasure driving or showing. February 21, 200817 yr comment_238013 Just my opinion.......I've always felt that the actual position of a tire/wheel in the wheel opening is critical to the overall look of a car. If the chassis sits too high, most tire/wheel combinations look odd! On the other hand, many tire/wheel combinations looks outstanding when the ride height is such that it is pleasing to the eye! By the way, the Libres look great on a green Z.....all that needed is to lower that chassis a bit, and it will look even better!Tom Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27095-wheel-changes-your-opinion/?&page=2#findComment-238013 Share on other sites
February 21, 200817 yr comment_238036 Orange, CA? I work in Orange (Glassell and Meats) and live in Foothill Ranch. As to the wheels, I am not a fan of Libres (unless I am selling them on Ebay ) and I like the first wheels better. Slots over the D hubcaps.
