Posted February 20, 200817 yr comment_237886 Looking for some help. The ignition switch in my GC110 does not power the accessories (i.e. radio) when the key is in the run position. If I wiggle it sometimes I can get it to make contact. I was wondering if the ignition switch was still availble from Nissan and/or if it interchanges with any other Nissan (Z car hopefully). My car is RHD if that makes a difference.Chris Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27131-ignition-switch-interchange/ Share on other sites
February 20, 200817 yr comment_237898 If the key turns clockwise from the lock position, it's probably the same switch that's in the S30, S130, 810, 910 and others. Does it look like this? If so it's the same: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27131-ignition-switch-interchange/#findComment-237898 Share on other sites
February 20, 200817 yr comment_237988 I know here in australia you can still buy new sets, but they are repro not genuine nissan ones, i would try and put some contact cleaner into it or even some graphite powder that may help it get a good contact.goodluck Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27131-ignition-switch-interchange/#findComment-237988 Share on other sites
February 20, 200817 yr comment_237999 Careful with that graphite powder. Too much and you'll have contact between several of the contacts that need to stay independent of each other. 2¢E Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27131-ignition-switch-interchange/#findComment-237999 Share on other sites
