Mr. Keneto has one of the most stunning Street Mod 240-Z's I've ever seen. I spent an hour looking at every finely tuned detail on that car at the West Coast Nationals several years ago. The engineering, craftsmanship and detail work are all first class. I understand he has a 510 that is just as nice...

FWIW,

Carl B.

That car was featured in Super Street magazine. His name is Tod Kaneko, and he also owns (or owned) a hot 510:

Like Carl, I consider this car to be about the best modded 240Z's I've ever seen. It was this car that pushed me towards doing a "resto-mod" type Z. After purchasing my car and seeing how close to original it was, I decided against that. Well, that and the amount of $$ I'd need to get mine to look like Tod's!! LOL

Thanks for the pics. I have that car (the one in the first post) as my background. I NEVER use somebody else's vehicle as a background on my computer, so that should say something right there. It was also because of this car, actually the front passenger 3/4 view on the super street online article that had me decide on an S30. I had sat down and decided to take a week to look for a project car, looking at a number of options, All were pre-1988, since these car are e-test exempt around here. Anyway I was looking at RX-7s, 510s, 240 SX, GM H-bodies (Vega, Sunbird, Monza, Starfire, etc), among a few others. It was within the first night and seeing that car that clinched it. Absolutly georgous build. I would like to see it in person one day, and meet the owner.
