I agree c2, it really is a shame. I've only seen 3 other coupes on the road since I bought mine in 2002.

The "rebirth specialists" in Kuwait are fecked but sadly not many people are interested in them in Aus....... at least we get a few wicked videos from Kuwait, that has to count for something I suppose.

too late mates. seller tells me car was sold outside ebay to a "collector" in kuwait

Hi, my first post here, I've owned two 240Ks, one VGC '77 5spd sedan one immaculate '76 auto coupe.

I'm just curious, why are Kuwaities buying up 240Ks? Are they Skyline collectors? Do they buy up from the UK, US and Japan as well?

The problem is that they probably have money to spend, and sellers can't refuse the very good offers they make for Aussie cars. I'm affraid it makes it hard for the rest of us who can't afford to match their price for an old 240K. The way it's going they'll eventually take all our 240K's unless people refuse to let their cars go to an overseas buyer. I'm sure Australia is the only country left with a decent stock of 240K's and that's why their targeting us.
