March 4, 200817 yr Author comment_239400 He doesn't live in CO...I have only been here for about a year and a half now. Anyway, I think I've decided not to buy this car. Unless they lower the price to like $2k...or less...which isn't happening. Apparently the guy owes $5500 on it. That's the original price the broker was asking and it has been sitting on their lot for 3 months at that price, until now. :stupid: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27242-another-introduction-and-a-question/?&page=2#findComment-239400 Share on other sites
March 4, 200817 yr comment_239410 Welcome to CO!Wow, the guy is pretty top-heavy in that one. There are a lot of nice Z's around the area, it just takes a bit of looking and some luck. I haven't join the Colorado Z Club (http://www.zccc.org/) yet, but been thinking about it for a while. They may be able to provide some additional local guidance in your car search. March 4, 200817 yr comment_239435 Smacked from the front..... I'd pass. There are enough Zs out there that have not been hit. The price seems high to me - but Z cars go cheap in AZ, I don't know about CO. I actually went to a Z car club meeting not long after I moved here. It was interesting, but a little too structured for me. As far as car clubs go, I like to just go and hang out, have fun...ZCCC is very structured and political. Also, I'm young (21), and most of the people in the club are over 40 Of course I don't mind hanging around the older crowd...we all share a common bond with our love of cars. But I still felt a little out of place being one of the few people there under 30 :paranoid: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27242-another-introduction-and-a-question/?&page=2#findComment-239442 Share on other sites

March 5, 200817 yr comment_239538 Thanks for the tip on ZCCC meetings. I'd prefer to avoid the political and just stick to the love of cars.... and I'm an old(er) guy at 45. :ogre: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27242-another-introduction-and-a-question/?&page=2#findComment-239538 Share on other sites
