While I respect your opinion, if you would dig out a bigger shovel, no pun intended, you would see this site is great for general restoration tips. Everything from painting, welding, bodywork, upholstery and much more. There are a lot of new folks on this site that have never done any of this. Check the site below. I would have never thought of this myself. And if you have the extra wood and no money for lifts, this might be the ticket:

I know this is not a pure Z site and our site here has great information specific to our Datsuns. I just felt this site offered some great tips and solutions that anyone could apply while restoring a car. BTW, no offense taken, still friends?

Thanks for the link. Searching can be a tedious, laborious, monotonous exercise in sifting through irrelevant threads/posts that just happen to contain your search terms--and when you find a relevant thread the discussion often sputters out without in sort of conclusion or kernel of wisdom. Given the lack of stickies, FAQs and the limited number of tech articles, links like this can be very helpful for the novice restorer.

I agree with Steve. The links you provided obewon are very helpful for what I am currently trying to do. Sometimes it takes hours of searching just to get a portion of the info needed. I can never get enough good info related to restoration tips etc....
