Posted March 8, 200817 yr comment_239932 Hello from NYC. I'm currently looking for my Z. I grew up in a white '82 280ZX 2+2, but my fantasy has always been the 240. I've been completely car-less for the last 8 years or so. There just isn't much need for one in the city. Of course, practical need has nothing to do with what I'm looking for now. Primal need is a better way to describe it.This forum has been a great source for me to learn and get up to speed, not only in enhancing my Z education, but helping me form an idea of what kind of Z owner I intend to be, if that makes any sense. At any rate, I'm looking forward to joining the ranks. In the mean time, I don't have to lurk around on the perifery like some peeping tom anymore. I'd love to connect with Z owners near the city, so give me a shout.Matt Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27301-new-in-ny/ Share on other sites
March 8, 200817 yr comment_239940 Matt,Welcome to the board. Seems like you've already done some perusing of the board. Keep that up and do your research when buying. There are some really nice cars out there and plenty of "projects" that need way too much work...Enlist the help of other club members if you think it will help. In general, this is a very friendly space and plenty will be willing to help out.Cheers, Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27301-new-in-ny/#findComment-239940 Share on other sites
