August 30, 200816 yr comment_258614 Cold for the beach is warm for the mountains...Jacksonville Fl average March Temps High 73 Low 50Asheville NC average March Temps High 58 Low 36Oh yeah....Stacey and I will definitely be up for some beach time. Those temps in the middle of March would be A-OK with us. February and early March are generally the coldest weeks of the winter here in Asheville (it's cold up here at 3000 feet). This trip is sounding better all the time....... September 2, 200816 yr comment_258907 *snip*1313 I know we all love Datsuns but this is the only 4 door Porsche ever made. What is that GORGEOUS silver car behind the 4-door Porsche in the foreground? Awesome pix. And Will, do you ever plan on creating a larger photo grouping, either here or on Flickr or Picasa? With 700 shots (this trip only) you could make lots of people very happy that couldn't make the trip! September 2, 200816 yr comment_258914 I am going to post all of the pictures somewhere, but when I posted to the archives here, I picked and chose the best of what a I took-I took a healthy number detail shots, to pick up the particulars of many of the details of the rare cars there. My though was the full on shots would be the most interesting to the members here. Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27308-the-amelia-island-concours-delegance/?&page=4#findComment-258914 Share on other sites
September 2, 200816 yr Author comment_258919 I went digging for you on this car. Found the info plate and another picture of it. I prefered to look at the RR Phantom. To me this was a very beautiful car and the pictures do not show the beauty of it. The detail in this car was the best I have ever seen in a car. I did not take as many pictures as Will did but he was without wife and kids. My side kicks like to run a little late to events. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27308-the-amelia-island-concours-delegance/?&page=4#findComment-258919 Share on other sites

Those lines, those fenders, might be sexier than the E-types! September 2, 200816 yr Author comment_258923 That car was so long I had to take angled pictures to get it all. When I took straight on pics I had to splice them together. I will see about place a couple on my site for everyone to see in high res.
