Blue Meanie Posted March 26, 2008 Author Share #25 Posted March 26, 2008 Glad to hear you like it Geezer. Ordered a ducted spook from MSA and it should be here tomorrow. Now, do I paint it blue with white daytona stripes to match the car or leave it black?
geezer Posted March 26, 2008 Share #26 Posted March 26, 2008 If your car was a solid color you could go either way, but since you have the stripes you have to continue them. I think it will look great blue with white stripes. The black they come in is a gloss gel coat and doesn't look as good as a satin black, in my opinion. ktm Posted March 26, 2008 Share #27 Posted March 26, 2008 I just recently installed their CF Bre spook. Very good fitment and did not require any trimming.
Blue Meanie Posted March 28, 2008 Author Share #28 Posted March 28, 2008 Great thanks. My mind is made up. Stripes it is.
Arne Posted March 28, 2008 Share #29 Posted March 28, 2008 Mine is still black gel-coat, and I agree, it would look better in satin black. But I plan to paint it to match the car when the car itself gets painted.
Oiluj Posted March 28, 2008 Share #30 Posted March 28, 2008 I'd say paint it. Ithink it would look great with the matching blue & stripes. Of course, that's just my opinion...
Diseazd Posted March 28, 2008 Share #31 Posted March 28, 2008 I'd say leave it black. It looks more subtle black!
Blue Meanie Posted March 29, 2008 Author Share #32 Posted March 29, 2008 If I had any doubt, MSA made my mind up for me. Several scuffs and scratches on teh spook. Looks like it is Laguna Blue Pearl and Chevy Super White!
geezer Posted March 29, 2008 Share #33 Posted March 29, 2008 The only thing I would do is round off the corners of the stripes and end them half way down the spook, but then you would have to do the same in the rear. Decisions...decisions:ermm:

bpilati Posted April 1, 2008 Share #35 Posted April 1, 2008 My 432 rear spoiler from CDM has the raised flat area on the right side for the badging. It seems to be made reasonably well. It has stainless studs sticking out of the bottom with locknuts and the color is black.
