March 26, 200817 yr Author comment_241961 Glad to hear you like it Geezer. Ordered a ducted spook from MSA and it should be here tomorrow. Now, do I paint it blue with white daytona stripes to match the car or leave it black? March 26, 200817 yr comment_241963 If your car was a solid color you could go either way, but since you have the stripes you have to continue them. I think it will look great blue with white stripes. The black they come in is a gloss gel coat and doesn't look as good as a satin black, in my opinion. March 26, 200817 yr comment_241970 I just recently installed their CF Bre spook. Very good fitment and did not require any trimming. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27371-bre-air-dam/?&page=3#findComment-241970 Share on other sites

March 28, 200817 yr comment_242139 Mine is still black gel-coat, and I agree, it would look better in satin black. But I plan to paint it to match the car when the car itself gets painted. March 28, 200817 yr comment_242153 I'd say paint it. Ithink it would look great with the matching blue & stripes. Of course, that's just my opinion... Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27371-bre-air-dam/?&page=3#findComment-242153 Share on other sites
March 28, 200817 yr comment_242230 I'd say leave it black. It looks more subtle black! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27371-bre-air-dam/?&page=3#findComment-242230 Share on other sites
March 29, 200817 yr Author comment_242333 If I had any doubt, MSA made my mind up for me. Several scuffs and scratches on teh spook. Looks like it is Laguna Blue Pearl and Chevy Super White! March 29, 200817 yr comment_242340 The only thing I would do is round off the corners of the stripes and end them half way down the spook, but then you would have to do the same in the rear. April 1, 200817 yr comment_242686 My 432 rear spoiler from CDM has the raised flat area on the right side for the badging. It seems to be made reasonably well. It has stainless studs sticking out of the bottom with locknuts and the color is black.
