ANSA tips

I ran Ansa exhausts on several cars back in the early eighties. Loved the sound and the look, but the durability of their mufflers sucked. The dang things rusted internally in very short order. I've had them last 13-18 months here in Oregon (no road salt), with a 12 month warranty. Not something that makes me want to have them again these days, even though I expect the glass-packed tips like these may last far longer than true mufflers did.

That may explain the lack of them out pick in pulls

The few I seen here in Califiornia held up pretty well, just old and dusty.

But then again not much rain here but once 2 weeks ago and it's

already nearing November.

Not even close. We've had a total of 3-4 days of any precip this summer. Typically, it's dry as all get out from July through the end of September, and often clear into October. Yes, it's wet over the Winter and Spring, but it rarely freezes here, and there's no road salt. Many of us here in Western Oregon drive our Zs year-round. Don't really need A/C in the summer, either.

It's been awhile since I lived there, your right summers are pretty dry

but the last vacation I took to Vancouver, Washington / Portland, Oregon

was a few years ago in the 1st day of July and I left on the 1st of August.

It was raining hard in dreary the day I got there and stoped for the month,

except for 2 or 3 drizzles, and went back to dark and dreary rain again the

day I left.

That was my first trip back after living in Cali and here I don't recal when

it ever rained in a summer month.

Just thought it odd to see that kind of rain in July.

When I got back home though my dad said he, my cousin and Uncle

would watch wheater channel and lough when I was raining out !

Watching that Doppler Raddar

But alas it's a nice place to live with the evergreens but it's just too

cold for me.

Thats why I'll never go back to Indiana, try those winters :eek:
