The Targa Tasmania is an event held once a year on a southern Island State of Tasmania in Australia. Some of the guys from www.auszcar.com recently had a week long trip to the area finishing with a track day at Symmons Plains race track. Video below:

Racing is for the track not the road, some of your driving deserves you loose your car and licsense.

The racing was on the track. What are you talking about? Don't be too judgemental regarding some of the speeds you see, remember this footage is edited and I don't want to spoil the video but it's not hard to speed sections up and slow others down for entertainment value.

It is awsome to see Z's still racing, here is a link to a 70 240Z that ran in last years Targa Newfoundland, it went DNF due to a dropped valve:disappoin.

Thought it was intersting that the 350Z's track times were about 8 seconds faster. Not much and I'd expect better.

That's a beautiful part of the world you have.

As for the street driving with traffic it can't be helped that when you have that many Z's together there HAS to be some friendly competition.

Yer the 350z is a twin turbo car so pretty good times for some of the older Z's on the track.

Zed's are meant to be 'driven' & that's what we did on the trip.

Where the hell do people find all these professional video editors? It's like watching a TV show. How can you guys get so lucky?
