Posted March 22, 200817 yr comment_241505 Well,I did the Ebay thing and sold my Orange 240Z, I set the reserve at $11,000 hoping it would garner more bids once the reserve was met. It met reserve and then........no more bids, oh well. It's a weird feeling, I'm glad for the buyer and sad for me, feels like buyers remorse only the opposite.I think the buyer got a very good and fair deal, and 10 years from now when the cars worth $30k I'll be kicking myself. But now I can focus on the Green 71 and start getting it in the condition the Orange one was in. Thanks to everyone for their input prior to the sell......Randy Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27473-sadlyshe-sold/ Share on other sites

March 22, 200817 yr comment_241509 Im sure it will go to a good home Randy. It met your reserve so you must have been comfortable with that number, glad you got it. Don't be sad, it'll go to a good home Im sure. And besides...you did have TWO really nice Z's. Give someone else a chance to love a Z! March 23, 200817 yr Author comment_241526 Thanks fella's I am happy with the sale, I could have set my reserve higher but your right I am comfortable with the price. It's funny, I had forgot when the auction ended, I was outside playing with the kids when my cell phone rang and it was the winning bidder.....I wasn't even sure what the winning bid was until the buyer mentioned the price. Happy Easter to all.......... Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27473-sadlyshe-sold/#findComment-241526 Share on other sites

March 23, 200817 yr comment_241564 Randy,I understand how you feel about not wanted to part with the orange Z. I am in the process of selling my Lime '72, and have mixed feelings about it as well! The good part is I know it will be going to a good home where it will get all of the Z attention, instead of having to share it with another Z as it does now :classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27473-sadlyshe-sold/#findComment-241564 Share on other sites
