Posted March 22, 200816 yr comment_241510 so iwas about to start a streeing rack swap on my 77Z and found that one of the TC rod nuts backed out of torque specs and was loose against the large retaining washer (urethane bushings installed several months ago). i tightened it up and voila! no more wiggly steering wheel. moral of this story. CHECK YOUR SUSPENSION NUT/BOLTS TORQUE SETTINGS every couple months and use mid grade Lok-Tite Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27474-fwiw-steering-rack/ Share on other sites
