VIN HLS30-1639 now in the Netherlands and we now turn the shell in to a racing car i also have

HLS30-2996 good shell no driver

HLS30-7996 works rally car

HLS30-8449 daily driver with period performance mods

This are all 1970 spec cars and verry rare in Europe

Turns out the camera didn't die, this computer I'm using don't want to upload pics to here or photo bucket :mad: I'll start a new thread for this new girl soon as I can get the pics up, but heres what I know so far. Anyway theeres so much more to this story than I'm letting on so far. The Owner is a pretty cool guy and was apriciative of how I conducted myself during this business deal to say the least. I'll say the most and other things later, but.... No rust on under carrage, frame fails or unit body parts far as I can see so far Only rust is surface rust where the paint has chiped away at, which is not much at all, easy fix during repaint. Car was originally a San Diego Z and has been in Racerville for the last 15 years with same owner during that time. All new suspension work, tie rods, brakes and stuff with reciepts for $1600 worth of stuff done just befor the car was parked in 2005. California Blue Plates as Edited July 30, 2009 by WingZr0

Look at what there doing to it, and they claim they know what they

have and they just wanna make a profit on it! :cry:

I mean how much profit can you make off a 500 Dollar car, at least

don't just take it apart it's a low vin thats restorable,

it's of a historicle signifigance for Z's Sake

People have already picked parts off of it,

Not trying to offend you WingZr0, but I guess after 2 yrs the owner didn't want to wait any longer for you to decide if you wanted it. It is good to see that it is finally out of the field at least.

I doubt they will get $3,000 for it though, either whole or in parts. I'm noted at all pffened my friend.

He told me he had sold it when I finally got the spare

cash to spend on it 8 months ago but he said he already sold it to a guy in

the neighboring city.

I asked he still had the cantact info and he said no, then I asked if he remembered

the guys name at least, since we live in a small town, and he said he couldn't recall it.

These dudes want $250 for a fender, ONE FENDER!

And way overpriced on the other stuff.

They just want to get to sum of what they priced on the seperat pieces and

think that i'll fly when I asked how much for the car.

Actually they want $3,200 now and I've seen this car in the weeds and at

my friends shop when brought it in and theres is nothing on worth keepin at all,

it's a complet resto project as nothing in or on it is resuable.

All the underpinnings are not even safe to use on a road car, it's been outside

uncovered since the early 90's or late 80's.

So I figured it would be in good hands at least getting restored or at the vary

least saved be some one in the community.

Now it turns up 50 miles away in a different city all together being sold for parts :mad: !

This jus chaps my azz, excuse the language :paranoid:

Nothing wrong with making money.

I just hope he don't have the same mind set if he finds serial number 1

and figures theres more money in parts, thats all.

Never good to see a Low Vin of any car parted out when it could be,

should be, saved.

Imagine if it was a 1968 Camaro, you know how many people would be

outraged over that?

I'm only saying, since they have so many other later year S30 Z's, at

least sell the whole car at a more resonable price so ANYONE can

fix it and save it since they know it is a low vin car and not simply be so

relaxed and content about letting it get destroyed and what I finally

fear is it's fate, crushed.

Avoidable all together regardless of who owns it, still yes ;)

Unless someone decides it's better off destroyed....

Found a member in my fb group who has HLS301680 !!

Link -> TheZGang Only 2 numbers off.

It's in a thread titled early 240Z, His name is Austin and he's a young cat.

His Z's built the same as this one in this thread here.
