Posted April 7, 200817 yr comment_243321 Someone replaced the ingition switch in my 71 with a junkyard take off from some other car. It fit, but was upside down. Well it locked up on me while the car was running so I had to kill the car then disconnect the batt. Lucky for me the Dealer was able to order a brand new factory switch for $129. I bypassed the swith intill my new one came in. About a 10 min install. If you need a replacement switch for a restoration job the dealer still has them but are getting harder to find.
