Posted April 8, 200817 yr comment_243408 I am installing the 280zx dizzy and e12-80 module in my son's car. I don;t know if I have something way off or what but I am getting no spark at all. Just a couple questions......Maybe I did something wrong. The 280zx dizzy is mounted 180 degrees off of what the 72 240z dizzy was....Is that correct? The B goes to the + ignition source and the C goes to the - on the coil. Is there any way to bench test the e12-80 module? Any help would be great! The rotor should still point the same as with the points dizzy. April 8, 200817 yr Author comment_243412 Hmmm? The rotor points the same way but the distributor is spun 180 the vac is pointing to the front of the car. The coolant return hose is in the way if the vac unless you rotate it. Any tricks or tips would be helpful. I found a guide for testing the e12-80 module....that is helpful...Thanks Again! April 8, 200817 yr comment_243449 Oh, that test. I've done that. I thought you had found a way to test an E12-80 off the car. That would keep me from having to test the ones I bring home from the junkkyard by installing them on a know working car.
