Posted April 11, 200817 yr comment_243825 Well, as projected earlier this year, I've run out of female connectors that make the PLH "Plug and Play" for the pre 3/73' 240Z. So all Parking light upgrade harness's are now Hard-wire only. Unless someone can find me a whole bunch of the female connectors shown below. If anyone has spare female connectors that they'd like to sell me, I'll give you $1.50 a peice. That's more than I was paying for the brand new ones when they were available. Please contact me at wolfin32z@yahoo.com The good news is that the Hard wire version is still available for all S30's. But you'll have to cut just 1 wire and tie in my harness. It's very easy takes only a minute longer than the Plug and play instal. The hard-wire version is only $35 and readily available. once again, email me if you have any spare female plugs you'd like to sell me in order to keep the "Plug and Play" versions available. Thanks for your patronage thus far. Dave. Plug needed is the first picture and the one on the right in the second picture. April 21, 200816 yr Author comment_244825 Without buying that particular one, I can't be sure. but yes, that looks like the right one. Obewon posted 3 links and the first seemed to have the correct one as well. #plug8973 is the correct one, I can't copy and paste from there cause it's protected... http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/connectors.htm I'll look into them when I get back from MSA. I apologize for upsetting anyone, but I guess all I needed to do is threaten a little... LOL Thanks guys, Dave. May 1, 200816 yr comment_245880 Dave:After reading this last week I ordered a bunch of connectors and new pins for my projects from vintage connections. Just came in (fantastic service). Their connectors fit perfectly with our harnesses. See attached pictures of the 6 pin plugs. They should do nicely for your projects. You're back in business!Seeing those nice white plugs makes all the stock yellowed connectors look very bad. Might have to change them all now, including the pins, certainly the high-current connections at the fuse block, light connections etc anyway. Hey, I saw your car on Friday night at MSA. You win! Fantastic lighting all around. Nice job.Jim Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27701-parking-light-upgrade-harness-no-more-plug-and-play-units/#findComment-245880 Share on other sites

May 5, 200816 yr Author comment_246372 Well I just got my first of 2 different orders. I ordered the square 9-pin male and female connectors with terminals. I just checked them with my 260Z and they are an exact fit for the combo switch. Which means that not only can I now make Plug & Play Parking light upgrade harness's for the post 3/73 240z's but I believe I can also now make them for the 260Z and 280Z's.Yeah. No more hard-wire PLH's. All you purist should love that one.Now that I'm sure of the fitment issues, I'll make a bigger order and post an add with a write-up, informing those in need that they are available. Thanks for the heads-up guys. I, as well as others, really appreciate it.Dave.
