How many years in a row have these been the same weekend? Obviously some one need to introduce the organizers of each show to each other.

No, I won't be driving down this year. I do want to make the trip at some point, but this isn't the year.

I will be there, along with Frank 280ZX form Holland. He flies in tomorrow. Take him to the Long Beach Grand Prix on Friday for qualifying and T-Shirt Buying (last CART event?), buy him a car locally on Saturday, Pomona Swap Meet on Sunday...and then prep the cars for hte Auto-X and show the following weekend.

I doubt Greg will move the date. it was moved to the weekend it's at now because of the heat that comes any later in the year...that, and everybody has their TAX REFUND in hand when they come to the MSA event. Makes for big impulse sales on the show weekend.

(How many of you guys never had that last thought occur to you?)

FYI, EVERYBODY try and make it out to the FREE BBQ Hosted by GroupZ Friday night in the MSA Parking Lot. Bigger than last year, and freee freee freeee!

I will be around the Grille. Flippin, or eatin...one of the two!

See you all there!

The thought that it's a big commercial venture for MSA? Same thing at the Roadster Show but it's a commercial venture for the city of Solvang. I don't even own a roadster at present but my wife will be with me at Solvang and she's easily baited into those impulse sales. Hmmm, now that I think of it, there's not much she'd be interested in buying at MSA.:devious:

Makes sense from a business standpoint, but business might be even better with more attendance. Between conflicts with Solvang, and the fact that traveling weather for those of us not in the SoCal area frequently sucks in late April, a whole lot of people who might be interested in attending, don't.

Re: weather -- The way this winter has been going, attendees from the Pacific NW could have to deal with snow over the Siskyious.

Without a Z or a roadster, I'm still going to both events. Leave early Sat morning from LA and stay in Solvang until the show ends and then drive back down to LA for Sundays show. I'm guessing I'll see Ron at both events. You can sign my copy of NSI with your article in it. This will be my first visit to Solvang so I'm looking forward to it. Hope to find some nice cars for potential articles as well as report on the show itself.

Leaving Wednesday morning (driving) to get a Z car to TonyD by Wednesday night. My friend that is.

Me and Leah will be there. With 1200 miles to get there, We leave Marysville, WA on thursday morning at 6AM and plan to drive straight to San Diego or Sacramento? Most likely drive for about 16 hours straight on thursday, crash where ever that night, then wake up and drive into Anaheim friday evening for the BBQ, after we check in at the hotel. (Desert Palms on Katella and Harbor)

We'll be at the BBQ on friday, the Sale and car wash on Sat morning and the dinner on Sat night and the Show on Sunday. We'll leave around 4 or 5pm sunday and start driving back home. Another 1200 miles back.

I'll have as many Upgrades as I can make ready for those who need them. I hope as many of you as possible, come and say "HI". We're praying for sunny weather, as this rain crap up here is starting to wizz us off. I just got the hood painted and it looks so good that the rest of the Z looks like A$$....

Come find us, you know where we'll be on each day.

Hope to see ya'll there,

Dave and Leah.

You must mean Sacramento. If you drove straight to San Diego you'd be about 100 miles past where the show is. Marysville to Sacramento is about a 12.5-13 hr. drive and about another 6.5-7 hrs. or so from there to Anaheim all on the I-5.
