April 22, 200816 yr comment_244878 A fellow member and I tore apart a zx parts car that resembled yours, at least the rust did. I needed to get the seats out, but couldn't get the rusted bolts out, so I just ripped the seats out, supports and all. Seriously. Grab and yank. If you were to get into any accident in that rust monster, you would be very badly injured.Sell the parts, and start over. April 22, 200816 yr comment_244891 Their is a running 1982 280zxt about two miles from me with perfect body but needs a tranny. Guy only wants 500 for the car. You add 750 - 900 bucks to ship it home. 150 for the tranny and your done. The one you want will cost more money then any zx is worth. April 22, 200816 yr comment_244907 "Perfect body"? How's the rust? mudtoy should already have the tranny if the one in his parts car is any good. Virginia to Arkansas is what 850-900 miles? Might be worth the trip.
