In near fatal accident of the car..

Well, on the showy night of April 18th, 2008 here in Washington, I was in an accident. Going down a hill in Lynnwood, someone was following me too closely, and I was going about 20mph, and I was not able to slow down in time because of the SUV behind, flashing me with high beams and what not, and I lost control, slid to where the LH side was facing a median, and up I went. I'm thankful the I was only doing as slow as I was, and was able to keep some control during the slide up onto the median. I'll take pictures to where all this happened.

By the way, no damage I was able to see right away on the car. However, if I wasn't wearing my seat belt, I would of hit my head on the drivers glass and been K.O'd. My left shoulder and left side of my neck hurts a little right now though. By the way, this happened about 10:30pm at night.

Lucky there's no damage to the car, but do go to the doctor and get yourself checked out.

Did the person in the SUV stop, or did he just take off?

I don't understand why people sit up someones a$$ trying to make them go faster, instead of just overtaking them.

When it happens to me I usually slow down a little more, then wave my hand out the window for them to pass me.

I HATE TAILGATERS !!!!!

Provided there's nobody behind him, I turn my lights on. Often gives the impression that I've touched the brakes. It feels good to see the front of the tailgater's car drop lower as he hits his brakes. Guess I'm just a nasty old bugger.

Thanks everybody. I'm good, not sore anymore or anything wrong. The car is still sitting where I parked it last night.

The SUV just kept going, that a$$-h013, and there was no one behind him.

Again, thank everyone, and I'll have the Z home today as soon as the roads clear up a little.

Ya I was wondering if you guys got hit by that crap last night, my mom called around 10:30 and said she had 6 frackin inches in the back yard. Lynnwood usually gets it worse. Damn convergence zones...

Glad to hear all is OK. I was cut off in the first year that I owned my Z, in the rain. I slid sideways at about 35MPH and hit the curb with the rear right wheel. It snapped my strut housing in half and made the spindle pin look like a "Z". it also bent up the dogleg a little. but it's all good now.

Sorry again,

Dave.
