Local car shows.....stock or modified

I am going to guess that the answer to my question is different with each show, but generally what is considered "modified" if you want to enter your car in a class.

My 71 has Panasports and an aftermarket muffler, that's about it. Would it be considered "stock" or "modified".

Thanks,

Randy

I'm not the absolute authority on this but I'll share what I do know. I think your wheels and muffler would still pass for stock in an exhibition. At least at MSA's WCN that would be the case. Hell, I think even headers can still pass as stock class but I could stand corrected on that one.

Anyone?

Most local shows will allow 3 or 4 non-stock items, in the Stock Class. Of course you will loose a few points for them. But it is the fun of sharing the car with the Z Car Community that makes Car Shows fun...

FWIW,

Carl B.
