April 23, 200816 yr comment_245056 Chevy engine orange is a pretty close match. You could also order a can of the stuff that is mixed to the original paint code from Les at http://www.classicdatsun.com/ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27834-orange-paint-on-air-cleaner/#findComment-245056 Share on other sites
April 23, 200816 yr Author comment_245083 thanks, i saw that and had a hard time pulling the trigger at 28 dollars a can. After all, how many oranges can there be, particulalry under the hood. April 23, 200816 yr comment_245085 Don: I have two air cleaners. I sprayed the one in the worst condition with the high temp Chevy orange engine paint after prep work. Then I compared it with my good one. Unless they are side by side one would never know the difference. Of course, if you are a stickler for originality....or need a concourse car, then get the $28 can. Otherwise, save some money.
