Posted April 23, 200816 yr comment_245097 I was going to do some stuff on my 280zx, and i was wondering which size wheels would be the best. Right now i have 15x7 centerline wheels and i have alot of space between the tires and the wheel mold . I have Eibach Springs, so my car is only about 5-7 inches off the ground :nervous:. So if anybody has any good idias, please PM me, or cantact me at marabantes@aol.com. April 23, 200816 yr comment_245102 You left out the important part -- what size tires are you running? The tires are what determine the fender gap. They also tell you the max size tire for a rim too.http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp?action=submitGood luck Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27837-which-size-weels-should-i-pick/#findComment-245126 Share on other sites
April 24, 200816 yr comment_245127 Those tires are very short in height, the same height as the stock 13" tires for a 510. To fill the fender gap better with 15" wheels, you need taller tires. To get close to stock height for your car, you need something like 205/60-15. Another popular size in 15" for a Z is 225/50-15.
