Noddle Posted April 24, 2008 Share #1 Posted April 24, 2008 Hi,where would I buy rear axle nut(s) for a '75 240K ?,I rang my local Nissan dealer, and spoke to a guy in "spare parts", he almost laughed at me,and told me he could not get them.I know I can buy a bearing kit, which has the bearings, seals, and nut, but at $50 ish each side, it's a bit more than I want to spend for 2 nuts.I have also tried the local "nut & bolt" shop, but he could not supply a nut with the "metal lip" for the locking bitso any help would be appreciatedand before you ask why I'm taking the rear axles out, it to fit the brackets for my disc conversionNigel

Noddle Posted April 26, 2008 Author Share #4 Posted April 26, 2008 440k, not sure if they are different, But theses are close, the one on the left is from a MR30 Skyline (my spare parts), the one on the right are off my spare 240K as you can see the skyline one had 3 indentations on the top off the nut (crushed), the washer are is slightly larger, not sure if this would be a issue, but I have access to a lathe, so next week I'll see if my local Nissan dealer can supply those..
