Hello Everyone I bought a 280z a few months back and now im working on the engine... I have been working on cars for a few years now but i mainly do suspension work and i dont have much experience with building engines or modifying them, also this is the first car i have ever attempted to restore. Right now i have the engine fairly taken apart, the only thing assembled is the block with head, intake and exhaust manifolds. So i was thinking this would be a good time to put in some headers and exhaust, i have done some research and also ive looked around the net for some headers, and i do need some that have the inputs for emmision controls. In other words getting to the bottom line i need help deciding which would be the best way to setup my exhaust starting from the headers all the way back to the muffler... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... thanks

I am from alabama so we dont have to have emission parts on our cars. But when i got my z it did have emission control on it,but since i use it to drag race only i took all of the emision stuff off of it and it runs fine. So if it is a daily driver i would put the emisions header on it, but if it is just a toy i would not use emision control parts on it. The choice is yours, either way it will run fine. The question is, TO B OR NOT TO BE LEGAL!!!
