Posted April 28, 200817 yr comment_245510 Does anyone know what color the oil pan was originally painted on an 1970 240Z? Mine is the same blue as the engine block but I have heard that it should be painted black. I would like to get it right before I put it back on. April 28, 200817 yr comment_245518 I was cleaning up underneath my 72 today and took a few pictures as I went. Just as Carl said, semi-gloss black with lots of engine block blue overspray. -Mike Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/27898-oil-pan-paint-color/#findComment-245518 Share on other sites
